Meet Caroline

If you’ve landed here, chances are something brought you — and I’m glad it did.

Maybe you’re exhausted and not entirely sure why. Maybe the strategies that used to work aren’t working anymore. Maybe you’ve quietly been wondering how much longer you can keep going at this pace. Whatever it is — you’re in the right place, and I’d love to tell you a little about who I am and how I work.

My story

I’ve been working in the helping professions for over 30 years — as a psychologist, coach, facilitator and EFT practitioner — walking alongside individuals and organisations through some of the most challenging terrain life and work can throw at you.

I came to EFT in the late 90s, when it was considered decidedly ‘out there.’ Curious by nature, I signed up for training anyway — and was completely blown away by what I found. I tried it on myself first, for a crippling fear of public speaking that had followed me since childhood and was quietly limiting my career as a clinical psychologist in Dublin. It worked in a way that nothing else had. That experience didn’t just change my practice. It changed my life.

But here’s the story I don’t tell as often — and probably should.

Before delivering sleep and fatigue management training to miners for the first time some years ago, I found myself lying awake the night before a 3:30am departure, dreading the alarm, unable to switch off. The irony wasn’t lost on me. There I was, teaching people the science of sleep while privately unravelling at 2am. Every tool I had was still in the box.

That experience was a gift in disguise. It sent me back to my own toolkit with fresh eyes and a new kind of urgency — not as a practitioner delivering content, but as a person who genuinely needed it. The tools came out. I sharpened them. And what I discovered through that process deepened everything I now bring to the women I work with.

I know this territory from the inside. Not just professionally — personally.

How I work

My approach is evidence-based, deeply personalised, and built around one guiding philosophy: I’m here to help you do this for yourself.

I have no interest in creating dependency. What I’m interested in is handing you a toolkit so thoroughly yours that you carry it everywhere — into the headwinds, through the turbulence, and out the other side.

EFT sits at the heart of everything I do. It’s the tool I return to again and again because it works at a level that most conventional approaches can’t reach — directly on the nervous system, at the root of what’s keeping you stuck.

I work with a small number of clients at any one time because this quality of presence isn’t possible at scale. When we work together, you are always in my sights — between sessions as much as during them. I notice when something shifts. I notice when you go quiet. I’m your wing woman until you can confidently fly solo into the headwinds.

What people are saying…

“I’ve seen Caroline for various anxiety issues from childhood through to adulthood. Working with her has helped me better understand the root causes of my anxiety and has allowed me to explore things on a deeper level. She is very professional and helps keep me accountable. I now regularly use EFT as a tool to manage my anxiety, and I check in with Caroline for guidance when needed. I highly recommend Caroline as a coach. I wouldn’t have been able to get through some challenging events without her support and the tools she has provided, especially EFT.”
Faye, Hobart
“I have found Caroline to be very professional and useful as my coach. She has kept me accountable and I wouldn’t have got the results with EFT if she hadn’t been guiding and encouraging me. I found her to be quite wise, and she gets to the main points when it comes to dealing with your issues. I would highly recommend Caroline as a healing coach to anyone.”
Paul, Perth
“I found the coaching programme valuable. It enabled me to better understand self-sabotaging behaviours and equipped me with strategies to recognise and abandon destructive thoughts and beliefs. As a result, short-term and long-term goals were recognised and seem more achievable. I really valued Caroline’s caring and attentive manner and her insight and skill.”
